Storyline: This series is about the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a shinobi who wants to obtain the title of Hokage. An incident occurred twelve years ago, however, when a nine-tailed demon fox attacked the village; many shinobi fell, until the 4th Hokage sealed the demon within a baby: Naruto.
As a result, the adults see him as the demon. Now a Genin, Naruto is part of a three-man team, along with Sasuke, Sakura, and their instructor, Kakashi. Together, they will face many challenges, make friends, face deadly enemies, and try to survive.

The First Shinobi World War: There were many other Shinobi Wars, but here’s the one that started them all: The First Shinobi World War was the first of the great wars that involved the majority of Shinobi villages and countries. There are few reliable surviving records of this war, but the experiences of this war led to the birth of the tactics that still form the cornerstone of warfare. It ended with an armistice treaty, but only after all of the Five Great Nations had been seriously damaged.
The war started not long after the system of one Shinobi village per country was established by the founding of Konoha. To try and maintain a balance of power, the First Hokage divided the tailed Beast among the other five villages when he began his peace talks with them. However, this was not enough to prevent the war, and may have actually increased hostilities.
The Second Hokage died during this war, while fighting against Kumogakure’s Kinkaku Force, sacrificing himself as a decoy in order for his subordinates to escape. Before doing so he selected Hiruzen Sarutobi for the position of Third Hokage.

Naruto Shippuden: Naruto Shippuden is the sequel to the first series of Naruto. It is simply Part 2 in the show and was set two and a half years after the present timeline in Part 1. The new story revolved mainly around Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno’s new adventures, and their search for Sasuke Uchiha after he became defected from Konoha in order to gain Orochimaru’s power. The plot later involves new major characters, such as Sai and Yamato. It also showed a more active Akatsuki in their quest to obtain all the tailed beasts.
There is all new action as evil lurks around every step of Naruto’s journey to save his village from an evil organisation known as the “Akatsuki” which plan on destroying a “new- born” Sasuke who plans on terrorising the village as vengeance of his brother assassination of his clan.

Movie Synopsis: Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox destroying much of the village and taking many lives. The leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn, Naruto Uzumaki. Orphaned by the attack, Naruto was shunned by the villagers, who out of fear and anger, viewed him as the Nine-Tails itself. Though the Third Hokage outlawed speaking about anything related to the Nine-Tails, the children — taking their cues from their parents — inherited the same animosity towards Naruto. In his thirst to be acknowledged, Naruto vowed he would one day become the greatest Hokage the village had ever seen.
Personal Review: Naruto introduces a slew of really great characters and features many action sequences that are pure suspenseful fantasy at its most entertainment. I would recommend it for anime watchers of the age 11 and over.
